Bize-Minervois carnival and procession of floats
Leading the parade was Mr Carnival, accused of causing all the bad things that that happened in the past year, and condemned to be swiftly burnt in the Cesse river bed.
Once a year the people of Bize show their free spirit of getting together in an incomparable way.
17 floats took part in the procession this year, with many associations taking part such as: the MJC, Calandreta, Club des Aînés, school children, as well as other groups and families from Bize.
Many children and firemen took part in the parade: a musical and multicoloured atmosphere.
The floats had many themes, including: the operating theatre, the rustic meal, the trip to the Tyrol, the Bize Liberation Front... many groups and bands took part, some from Limoux as well as Béziers.
